How to edit boot options to make them permanent

I received this error message when I installed first time:

Error 22: no such partition

I enter the command line and edit:
hd1, 1------ correct values are hd0, 1
and where sdb2--------correct value is sda2

How and where do I have to edit this to avoid making it everytime I boot presto?

Hi,

You can edit the grub config at c:\presto.lst and change "root (hd1,1)..." -> "root (hd0,0)"
